Born in the dark heart of the Germanic forest, the new Ahnenkult album pays homage to the cult of archaic black metal of the 90s. They tread old paths that feel new, they are rough and at the same time playful, atmospheric and yet somehow restless, they wander drunkenly like the moon in the grip of the pagan night blackness, where oddball shouts and rustling undergrowth noises sing their ghostly song.
