This release contains the debut CD, "Beyond The Endless Horizons", as well as the two demos from the early days, "Summon Thee..." and "Awakening Of The Ancient Past".

VII - IX: "Summon Thee..." was recorded in Summer of 2002 a.y.p.s.
X - XV: "Awakening Of The Ancient Past" was recorded between Autumn - Winter 2002 a.y.p.s.
Everything recorded on the Northwest Hellenic Soil, Epirus...

Darkthule are a band from Greece that plays a very atmospheric form of ns pagan/black metal and this is a review of their 2004 album "Beyond The Endless Horizons" which was released by Pagan Front.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of blast beats, while the keyboards are very atmospheric sounding, as for the bass playing it sounds very dark and primal with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast raw black metal riffs while the lead guitars are very primal sounding black metal leads, as for the acoustic guitars when they are used on the last song they have a very dark medieval feel to them.
Vocals are all high pitched black metal screams, while the lyrics cover Paganism, National Socialist and Aryan Pride themes, as for the production it has a very heavy and raw sound to it.
In my opinion Darkthule are a very good ns pagan/black metal bend and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Revealment Of The Cosmic Harmony" and "Beyond The Endless Horizons"
