1783. The land of Iceland is covered with lava, the air is poisoned by suffocating sulfur vapors. The poisonous fog mows down every fifth person – even animals, even plants wither from it. The land scorched by the volcano was empty.
Moðuharðindin (literally: "disasters in the fog") is a period in the history of Iceland that followed the eruption of the volcano Laki in 1783. This disaster caused a large number of deaths. Draugurinn's music will transport you to the years of gloomy despair, barren soils and poisoned fog.
