"Gryningen" is Eliwagar's first Pagan Folk Metal album, after 4 purest Neofolk albums. Runahild writes all of the music and lyrics and her inspiration comes straight from the nature surrounding her in Norway. On "Gryningen" (The Dawn), Runahild plays 3 old traditional Norwegian instruments: hardanger fiddle, bowed lyre and langeleik, in addition she plays also flute and cello. Her vocals are clear as the lyrics they represent: the beauty and might of nature, the purest essence of paganism, the countryside lifestyle living in harmony with the seasons. "Gryningen" is a mix of old songs from "Fra Hjertet av Norden" and "Sagn Fra Nordafolkets Land" re-arranged the folk metal way, plus compositions. 6-panel digipak with 20-page booklet.

ELIWAGAR are an Epic Norse Heathen Folk Metal band hailing from Norway. Most of their music is rooted in Traditional Norse Folk Music, while much of the later Art has a harder edge of Folk Metal.
