Pagan War Distro presents a new split album by two of its bands: NEZHEGOL and M8L8TH. CD Digipack reissue, the work takes on even greater significance, as the music is beyond reproach.
NEZHEGOL is a solo project by a Russian musician named Aleksandr, who plays old-school Pagan Metal that's nothing special—in other words, it just does the trick. With fast-paced tracks, guitars that emit melodic riffs, fairly standard rhythms, and a very melodic clean vocal that fits perfectly with the style and is typical of it, NEZHEGOL presents several songs that will appeal to those most familiar with Pagan Metal.
For their part, M8L8TH is a Russian band that needs no introduction. Between the "messiness" (so to speak) outside of their members' music on the one hand, and their powerful Nazi-themed Black Metal on the other, M8L8TH has become one of the most well-known bands within the Eastern European Black Metal scene.
With sharp riffs, aggressive vocals, and powerful drums, M8L8TH know how to deliver Black Metal straight from hell, although they also have more relaxed sections in between. Speed is an essential element in their music, but without becoming bored by such an avalanche of brutality, achieving compositions that are anything but annoying for the listener.
A good split from NEZHEGOL and M8L8TH that we hope will be a preview of new studio albums from both bands.
