Goliard "Artissimae Tenebrae" CD Bonustracks!!

The last two tracks are bonus tracks from the MCD "There Where Shadows of Gods"

This is a very good release of Russian technical black metal.
The closest comparison and most obvious one soundwise would be Emperor, it sounds almost like a mix of In The Nightside Eclipse and Ix Equilibrium.
The production is very tinny unfortunately, this takes away allot of atmosphere because of the over compressed sounds and lack of reverb.
There is a very well done cover of I am the black wizards, this remains very faithfull to the original, although the flat tinny production lets it down.
All the songs on this release are equally as good as one another, although they are not very original, the Emperor influence shines through a little too often.
The reason for only giving this 75% is because of the flat production and the lack of originality on this release, otherwise it is a very good album for people who want to hear a good album of Emperor worship!
