First ever official tape edition of this cult 1994 split. For the eternal glory of the Temple of Fullmoon.Comes with silverfoil printed red cardboard slipcase.
I ordered this from Poland and it took weeks to finally arrive, and when it eventually did, I was very disappointed because the Veles tracks were the same demos found as bonus tracks on the original 'Black Hateful Metal' CD.But the real reason to own this disc, are the 4 tracks by Legion. This band is amazing! They sound like Veles musically but with a completely bizarre vocalist that sounds like he's being attacked by vultures and screaming through a bullhorn. It's like nothing I've ever heard before and is totally great. Ultra RAW production value, as we can hear the defects in the master cassette on the CD. These last 4 songs are the real reason to own this disc. However, the total package is something to think about. Why reissue these Veles tracks again and again? They are just OK demo tracks and nothing really great. I felt really tricked when I got this CD because I thought there was going to be some new stuff on it, but it's just a fancy limited edition re-package of old material. Total bummer!Maybe I'm just upset that the Veles demos weren't new, but the Legion tracks were so far beyond my expectations that they blow the Veles tracks right out of the water. My vote would have gone to release Legion's tracks as a separate EP. So buy this one if you want to hear ultra RAW, INSANE black metal from Legion, and don't be fooled by the new packaging and lack of information on the No Colours website.
