Kres "Alchemia Pustki" CD

We have a small comment on the content of the review because a small inaccuracy crept into it. Wojsław /Swaikstan in Kres is responsible only for the lyrics and vocals, not for the entire composition. The band consists of four people, each of whom contributed to its creation. The new Kres album is different from the two previous releases and you can hear it perfectly from the first listen. Whether you will like this change or not - I do not know, the first listen surprised me, unfortunately negatively. That is - this is not what I expected, this is not the direction I was waiting for. However, with subsequent listens to "Alchemia Pustki", I started to understand and appreciate this album. A different approach to melody, a different atmosphere, although often the same Kres. Some people will consider this album the best, and some the worst in Kres's output and I will be able to understand both approaches. Certainly "Alchemia Pustki" is the most difficult album of the band to listen to, the least obvious and possibly the most mature and hiding the most delicacies, which I am currently discovering with each listen. However, for me number 1 is still the beautiful, melancholic "Na granicech nocy". Either way - I am definitely not disappointed with the new album.
