Metall, Blod & Aska is the first full-length release for an outfit—Olle Olsson (vocals), Christian Larsson (guitars), Andreas Berglund (bass), Tomas Jeppsson (drums)—that’s been kicking around in various forms since 2009, with the current lineup in place since 2016. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Larsson and Jeppsson.
Here’s what the band had to say about its debut release:
“After four demo/EP releases, we finally present the debut full-length album, Metall, Blod & Aska, which translates to ‘metal, blood and ashes.’ It is a death/thrash album with some blackened elements. Lyrics mainly focus on war and death with a touch of anti-religion. It contains a mix of fierce and fast riffs combined with heavy, slower parts.”
