Moonglare "...As The Hordes Gather" Cassette

Another cult of the former Polish black metal scene of the 90s - Moonglare. I like this type of stuff, my sentiment is huge and I couldn't pass by indifferently to this release. In addition to the tape, I also picked up a CD almost immediately. What we can find in these raw, slightly muffled sounds straight from old demos (but those of slightly better quality) is nothing else but dark arts close to the old Graveland, Fullmoon, Infernum, Veles. "As the Hordes Gather" is, above all, the enormity of the atmosphere, the old sound and aesthetics, the material opens and closes with an instrumental intro and outro - all according to old traditions. The material of course appealed to me instantly, but in the end it did not impress me as much as for example Diabolical Fullmoon did, or what Blood Stronghold (but this guys are are on the scene for very long time already) still does. Nevertheless, I still qualify it to the current top of this new-old Polish black metal in it's best original form. Debut demo from this promising new Polish black metal band. Paying homage to the 90s pagan black metal scene known as "The Temple of Fullmoon". For fans of Infernum, Graveland, Veles, etc
