It was just another night. Boring, quiet, monotonous. He had all the time in the world to perform autopsies on the last three corpses that had arrived. He found it curious that they all came from the government's secret scientific base. He had no idea what was done there, and he also didn't know why his superiors had told him such information. But what did it matter? It was basically the same as always. Open in the shape of a Greek i, observe the organs, note anything unusual, and close them again. He looked at his watch. It was 12:15 p.m. He grabbed the scalpel and began the incision on the first corpse. As soon as he did so, a strange, thick brown liquid that looked nothing like blood spewed out of the dead man's torso with great pressure, bursting violently. Then, from the thoracic cavity, a kind of insect about 30 centimeters long emerged. Before he could react, she leaped at him, delivering vicious bites to his jugular while sucking on his blood. What was that? And more importantly, what would happen if he escaped the compound?

Okay, it's true that the release I'm talking about today is from last year, but I first heard it on January 3rd, 2022. Wow, that's a great way to start the year. Dear Broken Tomb readers, it's worth continuing to be at the forefront of Extreme Metal journalism for works like this. But anyway, let's talk a little about it, shall we?
To start with, both bands are very different from each other. Nasty Surgeons is more "refined," sometimes reminiscent of Carcass's "Heartwork" and with a brilliant sense of melody. As for Carnivoracy, it will explode in your face with "Dead Metal," very much in the vein of Nihilist and, therefore, the very first Entombed. Obviously, a feast of good music is guaranteed throughout the 12 tracks that comprise it, delighting lovers of radical "Noise" of the highest level.
The riffs you'll taste will first shatter your skull, then scatter the gray matter inside throughout the room. Each note is an orgy of crunching bones and violently exploding organs.
Both bands use a double vocal register. I won't tire of saying it; you have to see how fashionable this technique has become lately. I'm not complaining, eh, I'm just stating a fact.
The drums pound dynamically. Perhaps Ramón Mur of Nasty Surgeons offers more nuances than Gonzalo of Carnivoracy. However, you'll be amazed by the work of both.
Now comes the always difficult task of choosing favorite songs. Believe me, it wasn't easy. From Nasty Surgeons... God, really, what the hell. It's impossible to do. You have to listen to the whole thing. You'll find out how much it's worth.
