Limited to 300 copies. Includes sheet with liner notes. Co-released with Iron Goat Commando.
What we have here is a great split by two raw hordes, amazing black metal bands from the land of colombia: Niadh and Sepulchral Moon. This is a must have for just true black metal fans in general!Released by Black Metal Rituals & Iron Goat Commando in August 12th 2013, the Niadh / Sepulchral Moon split offers 3 tracks quality songs of raw underground Colombian Black Metal. This 7"E.P. was limited to 300 copies, so it is not the easiest to come by. The material on hand is very good. ow, let's talk about the music itself, shall we?Niadh does their best to match the high sepulchral moon quality with "Wrought Below the Austral Sky".probably they are most emotional and saddest. They utilize a variety of tempos, still managing to maintain a consistent atmosphere throughout. The faster parts employ tremolo riffs that are not all that dissimilar from Sargeist. vocals more or less, drums is nothing outstanding and certainly nothing to write home about. however I really like this band too. It’s quite depressive, kind of sad & no monotonous, but still emotional. At 1:44 a wonderful riff kicks in. After a cold & melancholy final his is my favourite riff on the Niadh song: at 4:15, it’s sad but beautiful at the same time. Sepulchral Moon side: This is a lot more hypnotic and interesting than the other band. The intro track is slow, eerie, and dark. There are many screams and whispers within the track. When you listen to this, it feels like the voices are revolving inside your head. It makes you think of walking through dark woods while your body is surrounded by tortured spirits. Then, the real ritual begins. The first song really summon us in total darkness dimensions, and in a second, you know that this is an original band.Sepulchral Moon unleash a blistering assault of frozen tremolo riffs that freeze your flesh and leave you unable to move. The pummeling drums then come along to lay waste to that which is left,as the demonic howls summon the forces of evil. Demoniac voices seem beyond the tomb outputs mixed with brutality cold & dark.Sepulchral Moon maybe a perfect band for listen in a cold & solitary ritual night in the dark forest or cemetery.I can say with certainty that during years had not heard such an outstanding band as sepulchral moon that plunged me in these atmospheres being a rather unique and original band.
