The WARDRA project, originally formed as a duo, was the embodiment of the ideas of traditional black metal with an emphasis on primitive mysticism. Further transformation led to the emergence of the main creative backbone of the project and its consolidation in the trio format: W and B – responsible for the musical component; K – for the meaning and the voice that conveys it. Having moved further away from their roots, WARDRA decided to go into the endless darkness of space, adding an atmosphere of dark melodicism to the music and expanding the stylistic scope of their work. This lead to «Страж звёздных склепов» («Warden Of The Stellar Crypts»). This is a story about the death of worlds on the endless fields of nuclear harvest and about a silent witness who will endlessly wander through the fragments of time, waiting for the beginning of a new world that writhes in endless convulsions of sleep, without hope of awakening. Musically, the album flows from high-speed traditional black metal into the dark melodicism of atmospheric metal with notes of melancholic doom metal, periodically flaring up with the fire of raw anger.Available digitally and on either jewelcase or digipack CD format.
