Being active releasing records since 1995, it is no secret that we, here at Iron Tyrant, have experienced the very second wave of black metal since its first, uncertain yet huge steps, so it is a style that is still very much cherished even though very few acts, after the initial burst, have managed to capture the cold, otherwordly feel that is demanded when talking Black Metal.Odaltyr is a name that was given through shamanic divination; a creature that took years to manifest itself, bringing more darkness in the already bleak and dismal urban scenario of Milano, Italia, where Kymah Runar (also founder and brain at SATANISMO CALIBRO 9 (Official Page)) spends his days in absolute scorn and contempt for humanity.This very long debut demo (or should we aim directly at full length capacity?) was recorded in 20 days in July 2016 with the help of skinbasher m:A Fog (drums) and Plague (vocals). Lyrically Kymah Runar syncretically deals with Helwegr as he similarly approaches to the topic in SC9. For the time being, the ODALTYR debut "Reborn from Pain (A New Understanding)" is to be released on tape format only, in a limited edition of 100 pieces. What happens after this, divination will tell. ODALTYR "Reborn from Pain (A New Understanding)" MC will be released via Iron Tyrant in december.
