Orlog "Reinigende Feuer" LP white vinyl

Limited to 500 copies on 180 grams white colour vinyl with 12" inlay.

Orlog's 2006 debut full length Reinigende Feuer will see a vinyl reissue via Razed Soul Productions in conjunction with Neue Ästhetik, Purity Through Fire and Fog of the Apocalypse. The release will be pressed on 180g white vinyl with a rough-sided jacket and lyrics sheet. The LP is anticipated to be available for purchase in early September.

Comes with rough-side printed jacket and lyric sheet on heavyweight paper.

I was surprised when i heard this album. In a positive sense. From the moment i put the disc into the player and up to the end of it, i was gripped by the sheer force of the music.
The production here is very clear, every instrument is heard well. And that suits the music perfectly. Rhytm changes from very fast to mid-paced, but that is done the right moment and gives a very good impression. The riffs are outstanding, they give that dark feeling. They also put some acoustic parts into some of the songs, all composed so good that they give chills. Drums are also great here, especially because there aren' t blast beats alll the time, they change just the right moment, before becoming repetitive. The only let down here would be vocals which sound rather average, kind of weak...but this is easily overlooked when they are combined with the music.
My favourite tracks here are Todgeweiht and Ein Freund, but all others are killer too. I eagerly wait for their next release, as Orlog really got me in their music. It is obvious that all musicians here are an experts, after you hear this onslaught.
