Ovader "Wotankult" CD

Co-released with Doomsday Elite.

All the music, lyrics and arrangements of what became the album Wotankult were written between 2016 and 2019 by Ovader after the inevitable end of his previous project called Melancholic Journey. The album was recorded in different sessions in 2019 solely by Ovader in his home studio in Bulgaria. All the mixing and mastering work was done by Martin Tsenov, the man behind the melodic/instrumental metal project Henna, also guitarist in the Icelandic atmospheric black metal band Dynfari. Mixing and mastering process was done in Iceland in 2019 and 2020. Tracks 1, 2 and 4 were previously released in a mini album called "Rise of the heathen spirit" in august, 2019. These three tracks were then re-recorded and re-mixed specially for the Wotankult album. Track 4 was originally named "Flaming pagan spirit". The pictures for the album's layout were done by Steven Kostov and are used with his permission. All the layout design was done by Ovader. The painting that was chosen to become a front cover of the album is called Nordmennene lander på Island år 872. It was created in 1877 by the norwegian artist Oscar A. Wergeland.
