Sadistic Force isn't just another modern metal band--it's a high-octane resurrection of metal's golden era, dripping with raw energy, virtuoso musicianship, and a commitment to keeping heavy metal loud, fast, and unapologetically sinister.
Sadistic Force is an American band that plays metal in a fast, direct, and raw style. Their music is built on energetic riffs and a rhythm that immediately pushes the songs forward. They don’t overthink things — they focus on power, speed, and a sound that works from the very first seconds. Their approach feels natural and confident in what they want to achieve: they simply play hard, loud, and with full commitment. Thanks to this, they quickly attract listeners who enjoy metal served without unnecessary embellishments. I must admit this is my first encounter with this name. Their new material, however, draws attention and sparks curiosity about their previous releases.
„Morbid Odyssey” is an EP that doesn’t waste time on excuses. From the first seconds, it hits directly, as if the band wanted to immediately set the listener in the right position — the one with a clenched jaw and rising blood pressure. The compositions are short, tight, and guided with a steady hand, without unnecessary ornamentation. Every riff sounds as if carved from a single block of raw metal, and the drums work with such consistency that it’s hard to step away even for a moment. Despite its aggressive energy, the EP is not monotonous. Sadistic Force knows how to weave in melodies that don’t weaken the heaviness but emphasize its character. These brief melodic flashes tie everything together in a surprisingly natural way, as if there had always been some inner order hidden in the chaos. „Morbid Odyssey” leaves the impression of an intense journey — short, but very deliberate. It’s a release that doesn’t try to be bigger than it is; it operates within its scale perfectly. You can hear that the band knows exactly what it wants to convey and does so with full, direct honesty. It’s also worth noting that the first versions of this release contain five tracks with a total runtime of just under 24 minutes, while the edition released by Black Flame Rebellion was expanded with additional material: „Pain, Sex, and Rapture”, „Black Moon Sadism”, „Lagoon of Doom” and „Sadistic Rot”. Thanks to this, the whole thing grows to over an hour of listening. If you hadn’t known this band before, this edition under the Black Flame Rebellion banner will be the best way to enter their world — discovering the new material while catching up on their earlier releases.
