SURGERY is a death metal band formed and active in Poprad, northeastern Slovakia. Their death metal is simple and catchy. It is built with strong skills and rich sense. They are gradually strengthening their presence not only in Slovakia but also on the European underground scene. Additionally, their powerful and solid live performances enjoy an excellent reputation. And this year marks their 21st year of activity, and they will release their long-awaited third album "Living Dead" for the first time in five years!
This is a masterpiece that conveys the goodness of death metal in a more catchy and direct way, while still maintaining their signature old school death metal style.
