Jewel-case CD with 8 pages booklet

Do you know that the Czechs don't have only one black metal band, which is Maniac Butcher? There's also Trautenauer 666, which has been around since 2003! And they just released their second full-length "Satanreich".
I've had as much to do with the Czech scene as I have with Mercedes, which is nothing. So I'm as new as you are when it comes to such topics. The guys previously recorded a laudatory album in praise of Liczyrzepa and the Karkonosze, but how much can you say about nature? This time, they focused on blasphemy and anti-religion, which will certainly cause a lot of controversy among listeners, hehe.
The guitars sound quite cold and pull out long riffs that do not try too hard to be diverse and grab you by the throat, but in combination with quite agile drums (which at times sound like soggy cardboard) it creates a really nice dark atmosphere that bows to the Norwegian, but also here and there German scene, when you throw a little more sulfur into the furnace. Vocally without reservations, if you understand Czech, you can even catch what the author meant.
The album is coherent as a whole, but it may be boring for people who want variety and a million riffs that whip your ass. Here, the devil is in no hurry, he waits to catch up at the least expected moment.
The Czech black metal scene is relatively small, but despite this, they have a few interesting shots that create an original "dark" sound. So should we introduce Trautenauer 666 into the pantheon of the local scene? I don't think so, but you can listen to it, because it's not bad. And the guys from the horde probably don't give a damn and would rather run around the mountains with an axe, scaring tourists.
Perfect for afternoon tea.
