Turtumus ‎"Jälleenheräävä Viha" CD Digipack

Turtumus are a Finnish one man Black Metal band who started out life as a Thrash/Black Metal band. They (he) have put out a demo and two singles before leading up to this EP, ‘Jälleenheräävä Viha’. So what’s it like?

I would have to say that you would have think of it like Sargeist or Horna but with some bits of Thrash intersecting here and there. So very Finnish in their approach and application. Which is a good thing. For having comparisons as good as that and still being able to have a fresh-ish touch added into there like some Thrash makes ‘Jälleenheräävä Viha’ just that little bit better. Not better than the comparison bands but pretty damn close to their level.

So to say. If you like those two comparison bands above or something like Satanic Warmaster then you would absolutely enjoy this EP. Much like I did.
