As you look the covers of this MCD, you can tell that it's going to be a wonderful album. "No mosh, no core, no trends, no fun... Only black fucking metal WAR!", and a guy breathing fire. Knowing that the guys of Nazgul are behind this, got me even more interested.
To the musical facts. This album contains almost the only intro&outro I've ever liked, containing only acoustic guitars, and running short, without symphonic bullshit. After a 30sec intro the mayhem begins. Very cruel and cold distorted guitar strikes in with simple, yet catchy riffs, and the drummer goes ballistic, using high speed almost all the time. The vocalist is definitely one of my favourites, screaming very distorted and angry curses. After 12 minutes (and three songs) of madness, Uruk-Hai says goodnight, and plays a good 30sec acoustic outro. No symphonic bullshit here either.
So the only thing that left me unhappy is the awkward length of this album, totalling only 13 minutes... As I wrote this review, I already listened the album twice. The old saying fits here well : "Quality over quantity". The three songs (+Intro & Outro) shouldn't leave any black metal-fanatic cold. A must buy, despite it's length. I'm definitely waiting for a full lenght some day.
