Avenger "Minster Of Madness / The Black Zone" CD

The veteran black/death metal band Avenger from the Czech Republic was formed in January of 1992 under the name of Astaroth that 5 months later are changed to Averger before changng it into Avenger in the beginning of 1993. In March of 1994 the band enters a real recording studio and put down their first official demo Minster Of Madness. Its a blend of brutal death / black metal with inhuman roar. 1995 starts off with a new visit to studio HSE. Their second demo The Black Zone is released in February that year. The music is more sophisticated and in addition to the standard death / black metal ala Avenger you can also sense the crucial influence of thrash metal leakage. One of the tracks, How Cruel Is Waiting, appears on a local compilation album called, Black Horns Of Bohemia. These two first demos of Avenger can now be found on this album.
