Barastir / Ugluk "Under The Banner Of Hate / Hveralundr" Split LP Black vinyl!!

Barastir recorded at Hate Sound Studio HBP June 2006. This material was later re-issued on CDr in 2007.
Ugluk material was recorded and released as a demo cassette in 1994. Remastered at Panzerfaust Studio, Bergen, Norway.

Limited edition of 300 copies with insert: 250 copies on black vinyl (this).

A split album between Ugluk from Salerno in Italy and Germanies Barastir. Barastir plays hateful black metal, “I hate Christ scum, I spit on their heads” with some punk feel. But besides the old school black metal and the punk sound it does also come with a hint of melody. And it’s those few moments when the melody sets in that you get a chance to breath from the otherwise unrelenting no-frills mangle. The Ugluk material features more of that no-frill old school black metal. The material here is liftet from their 1993 demo together with a bonus track. The demo material has been re-mastered in Norway at the Panzerfaust studio. It has an improved sound over the original demo but both the Ugluk and Barastir material still has some demo standard sound. Raw old school black metal fans should dig this.
