Blackhorns "Rise Of The Infernal Sorcery / The Oath" CD

This release had been remastered and you get 15 tracks which is nice! the first half is the full length “Rise of the infernal sorcery” and the second half is the demo “The Oath” Blackhorns is a name few know if any at all. I had a hard time getting this release. This release cannot be bought off band camp and they only have one track online,True underground right? from the get go we get a nice intro track and then it goes straight into hell itself. i get a very old arch goat vibe here mixed with old raw black metal, this is raw and very unpolished and is that a bad thing? No! it sounds like they recorded these releases in a garage and then didn’t mix it and it reminds me of a old bathory mix.The riffs are very old school, think second wave black metal mixed with some war metal elements and it works very well. The vocals are a mix between highs and lows. mainly lows but adrian does a great job at switching between both. my favorite part in the whole entire release is the second track where theres this amazing short solo and it sounds super wicked!the second half of this being the demo is so raw that only legit black metal fans will like it. this release is for the old school black metal fan. it pulls no punches. its in your face through the whole 15 tracks! this is a release i suggest getting! you can get it through adrian and i don’t know if he still has cds but i suggest you buy! if you like raw black metal with a taste of war metal thats a walk through the pits itself then get this. this has no bad points! NONE! its flawless
