A few days ago the penultimate album by Blood Stronghold was added to my collection. This pagan black metal alliance with a Polish-Australian line-up has existed on the scene for many years, but I came across their work only on the occasion of their last release, i.e. "Spectres of Bloodshed ". That the stuff I like most! It appeals up to me so much that I slowly started to complete the whole discography. The music is full of pathos, small folk elements, but also black metal darkness. The spirit of the old 90s scene is still present here. The sound and aesthetics of "The Triumph of Wolvish Destiny" is a perfect example of what I am looking for in this art. It has a spirit and a unique atmosphere, it is a sincere music referring to old traditions. The album is not exaggerated when it comes to aggression, and turns out great at keeping the balance between melodiousness, melancholy, solemnity and black metal rawness. Anyway, what comes out from Wened's hand, it almost always suits my taste. The album is dedicated to all fans of pagan BM and the old sound of this art
