Doldrey ‎"Doldrey" vinyl 7"EP

Release in conjunction with Record Store Day 2019.

Doldrey are a death punk band from Singapore. Aside from a single sentence they passed on about their self-titled EP, I—and everyone else, including their label—know nothing about the Singaporean outfit. Well, nothing except the fact that they rule. Coming in at five songs, Doldrey’s EP blends a straightforward punk attack with cavernous black/death metal in a way that is familiar yet original, pushing the vocals to the back into the mix in favor of a menacing, dark atmosphere.

“We play a mixture of ’90s death metal and punk, drawing influences from bands like Autopsy, early Bathory and Zouo, etc.” Doldrey told Decibel.
