"Necromantic Legacy" is the return to form of veteran black metal project EALD. Formed in 2000 and after the release of many demos, the band's debut is a rabid demonstration of everything that makes black metal unique: haunting melodies, furious drumming, and overwhelming emotions. The band's mastermind, Heolstor (who has been active in the scene since the 90s in projects such as Nazgul, Mystagos, or the more recent At the Altar of the Horned God) showcases his decades of experience in this refreshingly traditional melodic black metal album.
