Godreah Records have announced they will release the Swine Of Hell, split CD in late July 2011.
Dirty Black Heavy Metal is what this release is all about. Godreah Records keeps the flame of the underground alive with the collaboration of 5 bands that have a long history with the underground and beyond. This is METAL at its most diverse, most rotten and born from the embers of Hades. All the tracks are exlusive to this release. For the first time Evo from seminal Brit Metal/ Punk band Warfare joins forces with Algy Ward, main driving force of Brit Metal legends Tank. Taake rip through the late great, GG Allens, Die when you Die, like a bullet fired from the gates of Hell. Its short, and to the point. Sigh are as ever immersed in their undulating nightmarish musical swirl. As unique and challenging as a Rubik cube with all the sides painted white. The Meads of Asphodel twist and implode in their slow burning ode to religious irony. As eccentric as ever this seamlessly follows from the previous Sigh offering. The proceedings are dragged to a fitting close by one of the UK s oldest and most resilient Black metal bands, Thus Defiled. They are still true to the roots of the genre and add an epic end to the release.
The album features WARFARE’s Evo and TANK’s Algy Ward covering a STATUS QUO track and TAAKE with a GG ALLEN’s cover featuring Necrobutcher on bass. The album also includes SIGH, THE MEADS OF ASPHODEL, and THUS DEFILED.
Featuring, five exclusive tracks, and for the first time Evo (Warfare), and Algy Ward (Tank) crank up the noise with a crushing Status Quo cover, Taake with a cover of GG Allens ‘Die when you die’ (featuring Necrobutcher on bass/ and guest vocals from Erlend Hjelvik of Kvelertak). Sigh, The Meads of Asphodel, and Thus Defiled (featuring Sakis from Rotting Christ).
