I never understood the reason. Why did the beings I created ever think I was benevolent? From the beginning, I've been punishing them for pure amusement. Even so, they pray and beg me to help them with their foolish affairs. To justify my disdain or my evil deeds, they invented the figure of the devil. He has never existed; I am behind everything that happens on this great ball of earth filled with water. Their lives are not only meaningless, but once they die, nothing exists, since their very existence has no meaning whatsoever. Fools, they will never know that they are nothing to me…

Welcome to the universe of Deviltook. Base Record Production will release the third full-length album from the black metal band Deviltook, titled "The Decrepitude of the Redemption Process," in the summer of 2025.

The band's lineup is: Gastaroth (bass), Volundr (guitar), Lacuercus (guitar and drums), and Berserk (vocals and drums).

I firmly believe this is the band's best work to date. They've added an extra touch of drama to their sound, and it works perfectly. However, I must admit that I felt the album starts off very well but dips a bit from the halfway point onward. Despite this, I guarantee that overall you'll be more than satisfied.
The guitar work is both savage and melancholic. You'll experience dissonant, effective, and utterly nihilistic riffs, built on tremolo picking and double harmonies.
Vocally, shrieks are the dominant element, as you might expect. Despite this, chilling clean vocals occasionally break through. The percussion is dynamic. With a perfect balance between speed and power, the band ensures the listener never loses interest. I particularly like the opening tracks, ‘Desperate Souls’ and ‘Denial Of Creation,’ for their musicality. I also can't overlook the ferocious ‘I Laugh In Your Fucking Face.’
“The Decrepitude Of The Redemption Process” is, in many ways, a step forward in Deviltook's career, and one that will undoubtedly please fans of Black Metal.
