Kapitel III is the final work recorded by solitary artist, Graav. Fortunately for us, and according to what I've read on Metal-Archives, LIK has been re-activated in 2010.
This album falls somewhere between the first and second release. It feels as if it was done before Kapitel II. Not that it is bad by any means, just that it is simpler and slightly rawer than the 2005 album. For one thing, the bass and drums are more discreet and the adventurous vibe is no longer present. The opening track, "I Tidems Ande Det Tron Som Bestar" is a straightforward piece of raw pagan metal. " Röd Puls" contains some pretty cool echoing clean arpeggios with effects in them, reminiscent of Kapitel II. On this song, you'll hear a nice ambient/ghostly and a psychedelic touch. The following track, "Vredens Trolk Dom" is a mid-paced crushing tune with heavy distorted riffs and arpeggios. Later into the song, a certain doom vibe a la The Doors is present; a cool thing as such. To close things up, "Visioner Om En Odslig Framtid" brings in more doom and gloomy tones in an instrumental composition filled with distortion and a bit of a depressive tone.Overall, Kapitel III remains a good little pagan album with a mixture of rawness and a doom/depressive edge. My personal favorite is the closing instrumental track, but I like #2 and 3 as well.
