NËBRAHHARTËN is a complete novelty for me, and the album was a hit in the dark. This American black metal project is shrouded in mystery, both in terms of the date of its creation and the person responsible for all activities. However, it is known that the first material was released in 2022. Since then, a number of albums and several EPs have been released, which translates into a sizable list of titles. The most recent item is the 'Negation of Spectral Disruption’ compilation reviewed today, which includes two recent EP materials.

’Negation of Spectral Disruption’ is a title that contains six tracks with a total duration of over forty-one minutes. The music that comes out of the speakers is raw, but also atmospheric. There are elements of depressive black metal in this music, which gradually transform into an atmospheric sound, creating a very extreme effect. The added synthesizers make the music melodic, but at the same time introduce chaotic sounds that hypnotize with their obtuse sound. The guitar riffs are fast, aggressive and of chaotic form, which may not be easily digestible for most extreme metal listeners. The keyboards, on the other hand, add even more confusion to all this, introducing original melodies that evoke different emotions. They make this material much more interesting. As for the sound of the drums, I like the dirty sound. You can hear that the sound production here is deliberately low to create a disgusting effect, which is strongly to my taste. The vocals are typical black metal screeches, filled with darkness. 'Negation of Spectral Disruption’ sounds like it was written thirty years ago, which makes it hard to get away from. I highly recommend this album to black metal maniacs.
