Hell, I just realized that my good friend Martin Ciappara is a genius, because the subject does not only have a large discography but in his, there are: 5 Albums, 2 EP's, 2 Demos and 6 splits; and not just the one who writes, edits their sound in the recording studio, is promoted and produced independently, a true warrior convinced of what he wants and sure of what he does.
His latest material has just been released and even seems to have been picked up from my p.o. box still warm despite having traveled thousands of miles from his native Malta [well, I really do not know how many miles are but I imagine they must be a Shitload].
Well, as some will already know Martin c has an exquisite taste in black / death metal, a genre in which he has shown his musical skills through his previous records that I have already had the pleasure to hear, although in this work I think That the genre focuses more on the technical / melodic black metal, which is manifested by an endless session of well-designed riffs, which are released in a peaceful and peaceful manner; to what I mean is that their sound is aggressive , but it's never explosive, as if it wanted to travel calmly through the 62 minutes with 32 seconds that the album has duration; time in which none of its dark executions become tedious or repetitive.
This is what definitely gives power to the whole musical ensemble, apart from giving it that touch of tension. Some rhythms and in turn some acoustic raids are heard quite macabre, as if you were in the movie theater watching some horror movie.
There are other elements such as the synthesizer and those dark choirs that appear out of nowhere but that fit quite well because they add another granite to the suspense.
Theme to highlight: Ah! "Eternal shades of doom" a musical cut that begins so metálicamente normal but that gradually becomes an acoustic passage of very good taste, with a Greek touch or some particular region, ridiculously good!
Art on cover can represent many things at once depending on what you see in it, in my case it is the temptation of the human being to be in complete solitude or also a very short representation of the eternal struggle between the benign and the evil .
This "banished from death" really is enjoyed to bring in your gut a proposal somewhat different than already established, so if you like the black melodic and even experimental, then here's a brief recommendation you may need to take into account.
