The split of these three bands begins with the Italian Skyggja, founded in 2022. Here, they present four pieces of crude black metal that flows out of moldy dungeons, because the guitars sprinkle more gravel than frost, and the crackling bass and barrels almost cover them. Above them reign disgusting vocalizations that emerge from the singer's throat as wet screeches. This is hypnotic music in a medium tempo, which may be associated with the first period of Darkthrone's work. The Italians add a slightly occult atmosphere to it by introducing atmospheric keyboards in a few moments, but in essence it is a "Norwegian rock" that beguiles, but can also surprise with a punk d-beat. When Skyggja ends, our native Winter Blackness begins, which released a full-length in 2017, but already has several smaller releases and splits to its credit. This is a solo project, which, like its predecessor, plays raw music with devilish connotations. It is almost a twin of Bleczur, except that in this case it is a bit faster and colder, because the icy tremolo appears here more often, and the oars and vocals are brought to the foreground. The section hides behind them a bit, but it is audible, it does not show any signs of decay. Winter Blackness also uses the sources of the horn of the nineties and likes to introduce a bit of atmosphere through synthesizer backgrounds. However, sharp notes prevail, standing against the light. These two numbers fly by quickly and after them Necrostrigis from Słupsk enters, also having a lot of "mini-realizations" in their discography. The next two songs in his performance are also black metal under the "raw" sign, which, in contrast to Winter Blackness, is even colder. The strings, tuned high but softly, glide at hypnotic speeds, accompanied by a well-heard low-pitched paddle and a drum kit with rustling cymbals. The instruments are accompanied by the hysterical vocals of Wolfvamphyr, who, it seems to me, has his fingers in all three brigades of this compilation. It is a kind of "burzum" bleczeur with a reflective shade, which in the last roll of this split turns into atmospheric rawness, gliding steadily to the accompaniment of keys, giving it a metaphysical charm. Well, successful, because the uniform combination was provided by Lower Silesian Stronghold. However, it is intended only for the ears of fans of traditional and barbaric black metal, which without unnecessary fireworks, but with bad intentions provides a large dose of sounds, reeking of forest rituals.
