Successor of "Satanas el Grande" contains 11 anthems of Death/Black Metal offending all kinds of faith and religion - without mercy and compromises.

Have you heard of the Ukrainian act Semargl? If you have then you know what to expect from Stillborn. Blazing speed in each and every way possible. The drums is hammering away at full blast, the riffs are so insanely played it almost reeks of the bloodshed it must’ve induced when recording it. It’s difficult to decide whether it’s blackened death metal or the other way around, ‘cause it carries pretty much equal amount of both genres. It’s pure black/death metal. Take the extremely raw and fast black metal of Antaeus, and then add a whole bunch of blackened death á la Behemoth, and finally a huge chunk of heavy death metal in the vein of Hate, Deicide or Vader. Can you imagine the ferocity of the result?
Growls and screams are layered on top if each other, and there’s tons of variety of each type of vocals imaginable for the genres represented. It’s pretty much at full speed nonstop, with the occasional slowing down for a few seconds or so. And while it carries the harshness of black metal and the brutality of death metal, every once in a while I get a feeling of thrash metal flavoring the tunes. The musicianship is definitely there, ‘cause they never falter once. The riffing’s intricate and technical, and at this speed it’s clear that Stillborn are no spring chickens at their instruments. A full tornado of blasting, chainsaw guitars, screaming, growling, gurgling, mangle, and last but not least – sinister laughter.
I’ve never heard of these guys before, but they sure as hell make a great first impression. They’ve apparently got an album preceding this one, and I’ll definitely look it up to see if it also offers this amount of satanical intensity and ferocity.
