Chaospiracy "Infecting Grotesque Decay" CD

I'm pretty sure this band is supposed to be "Chaospiracy" as in, a conspiracy of chaos. But it could also be Chaos PIRACY, which I think is actually better. This is a classic four-tracker EP with some of the tracks being quite beefy, so the length is decent. Stylistically, this is almost pure '90s Death Metal, with elements from stuff like Autopsy, Massacre, Benediction, and even a good dash from Bolt Thrower. You get churning, bulldozer riffs and a hollow roar for vocals so buried in the mix it sounds like a howler monkey being run over by tanks. This is not innovative, but it serves up a slab of crushing Death Metal and does it well.
