ZINVMM is a not exactly a one man project. ZINVMM is an international and open collective of musicians and artists who cooperate with the idea of making intense, epic and absolutely FREE music, but this record was built by one person, the one who leads the concepts and ideas behind this project.
"Zinumm" suggest us a voyage of discovery of the arcane and forgotten knowledge of our ancestors over a black metal influenced by the founding bands...Imagine a mixture between the harshness of the first Burzum, the pagan majesty of Helrunar, the epic melodies of Bathory and the folk tenderness of Ulver or Empyrium, everything adorned with slight ambient details or even from funeral doom...All this and more is "Zinumm", a firmly enrooted band into the Celtic tradition, with lyrics in Old Gaelic and using traditional instruments such as the Zanfona, adding to the music a new mystic and pagan dimension...And don’t forget to listen to carefully Lá breá le bás, an amazing reinterpretation of Bathory’s classic A fine day to die, probably one of the most original cover version of a Quorthon’s song..."Zinumm" has been released by Darkwoods in jelwecase limited to 350 hand-numbered copies.All songs written, performed and recorded by Z I N V M M.Lá breá le bás pays homage to Quorthon and Bathory, with love and respect.
