It wasn't long before the larvae hatched. Once they did, they would need to feed. Therefore, in recent weeks, he had collected a good number of humans. He enjoyed murdering his supposed friends more than he expected. For years, he had camouflaged his insectoid appearance, passing himself off as just another inhabitant of Earth. It was so easy to begin life there... the stupidity of people was astonishing, to say the least. The first victim he brought there to dismember and stuff her pieces into an industrial freezer was his "mate." When she showed him her true self, she died of a heart attack. You could say she was killed by panic. The remaining ten put up a futile resistance. Nothing could stand against his powerful jaws. The wait had been worth it. Soon, with the help of their offspring, they would completely colonize the planet...
Welcome to the universe of Carnivoracy.
On November 30th, the debut album by the Grind Death/GoreGrind combo Carnivoracy, "Dehumanize," will be released. Base Record Production will be the label responsible for the release.
The band is composed of: Gaspar (bass), Rubén (vocals), Barbara (vocals), José (vocals), Carlos (guitar), Jesús (drums).
The debut of this band of wild lovers of the best radical "noise" arrives with exaggerated intensity. This humble editor of yours has thoroughly enjoyed listening to the aforementioned LP. The word "rest" is not in the band's vocabulary, offering a whopping 33 tracks in less than half an hour. The most suffocating speed is the order of the day, so if you have anxiety or heart problems, beware of this album, comrades. There's no reason to complain about the production. This one is powerful and completely understandable, moving away from the sonic mash-ups that many bands of the same style choose to use. The artwork... Let me tell you. I don't usually enjoy digital art or drawings. Despite that, it's obvious that the cover art fits the album like a glove.
The riffs are accelerated, muted, and, to put it mildly, thumping if the occasion calls for it. Double harmonies are sparse, but not nonexistent. As an anecdote, they include a light solo on "Devastating Souls."
As for the vocal registers, you can delight in both cavernous growls and agonizing screams and that tone reminiscent of boiling water.
I don't think I need to describe the drums, do I? Of course, the drumheads are hit at inhuman speed. Let's not miss the "lightning hits" and up tempos!
I'd emphasize... let me think. I liked all the songs, and it's hard for me to choose one over the other. Okay, I'd highlight 'Exterminate Human Life,' 'The Ruthless Fight,' and 'Stench.'
Thrill-seekers, if you buy 'Dehumanize,' you won't regret it.
