Originally released in 2019 on tape via Nihilistic Noise Propaganda, the debut Nexwomb album has been re-released on CD via Morbid Chapel Records. Time to dig into some truly bestial war metal.

With not a second wasted on introducing the album, bestial riffs, savage drums and maniacal vocals drop us into a onslaught of unholy and ferocious war metal chaos. The riveting and visceral music is utterly unhinged with a low snarling murk to the production, allowing only the most frenzied and deathly concoctions to emanate forth from the nihilistic, punishing soundscapes. With a restless drum performance to punctuate primitive riffing and maddening vocals, all the ingredients are present for a sonic firestorm of hellish blasphemies. Devastating us with nothing but pure vitriolic filth, the band delivers unquestionably fantastic War Metal flawlessly.

Continuing further into the demonic depths, the scolding nature of the music only grows with a dismally eerie atmosphere to enshroud the uncompromising assault of wonderfully crushing blackened death metal butchery. War Metal can sometimes seem like it lacks musical proficiency, Nexwomb however primal is set apart by an almost industrial, mechanical precision to some of the drums which hit with no remorse alongside a brutal array of well-varied riffs and ghastly vocals. It is this unique and balanced approach that allows Nexwomb to sound not only as savage as their contemporaries but also stand out from the crowd.

An absolutely fierce, scathing and abrasively heavy album of pure blasphemous filth. There is no turning back once you start this record and become intoxicated by its ruthlessly primitive charm and distinguished but suitably bestial aggression. Certainly one for fans of utter chaos to enjoy and with plenty of variety that satiates the hunger for a frenzied but complete experience.
