Section one of this compilation is the "Purifying the River of Tears" half hour set originally a commissioned piece performed live at MONA, January 2014.
This is the studio version in which for contractual reasons I had to perform the stringed instruments using garage band on my IPad.
It turned out ok but I wish I could of used the quartet instead, obviously I didn't have the money to afford them.
The physical release states Striborg performs GLOOM METAL exclusively.
A bit wankey... Yes GM = Black / Doom / Ambient as the BM category doesn't really fit this release, I'll also add psychedelia too.
As bonus there are all 3 split 7"'s included for the first time on digital format.
