Varkaros is the Dungeon Synth project of Alex Vogel (Aonarach, Bastard of Loran, Arna) from Spain, born from the desire to pursue a musical development and to exercise in composition and classical arrangements.

Inspired by themes like old school sword and sorcery movies, fantasy literature and a couple VERTIGO comic book series, “Desired God of the Abyss” pictures the landscapes and sounds of a war lost to the silver-haired and raven-feathered demon lord of desire.

Wishing to continue the expansion of its sound, Varkaros aims to introduce new elements in forthcoming works, fusing classical and old-school sounds with more modern techniques and instrumentation.
