A hidden gem from the late 90s of Oulu,Finland underground. I might make a habit of reviving some golden oldies from my youth through Korpituli Productions and now is the dawn of the first one.
Anthorn was a shortlived black metal band that released two demos and played one gig in 1999 before the band disbanded but their legacy remains as probably the best underground demos' that the local scene of the late 90s was able to produce.
Since these were in constant rotation on my player back then I wanted to share this with the world of today in the cassette tape format as these are mighty fine black metal songs in the vein of the norwegian masters like Enslaved, Immortal, Borknagar or even the mighty Emperor.
Take a journey with us to the age of black metal at it's prime in the Oulu of last millenium - young, arrogant, energetic and ambitious.
