The Doublepenetration Split was live recorded in "Bunker Niedersedlitz" in a few hours with a lot of alcohol and gloomy disposition on April 20th/ 2015.
This Split is a declaration of war against all asskissers and boasters!

Properly titled Doublepenetration (A Blutsturn and Inferit Conspiracy), this split unites two German black metal bands for six tracks of blasphemous and primitive music. Both bands bring a similarly unrepentant and decidedly old school style to their songs, boasting a striking likeness to each other; even sharing two members. Regardless, the bands do have differences enough to warrant further investigation.
The split begins with Inferit, a relatively new black metal band from Dresden. Formed in 2015, this marks the band's debut material. Featuring veterans of the German scene, the members come from a diverse spattering of bands in a variety of subgenres, yet the band's sound is thoroughly rooted in old school, primal black metal. Pummeling chords, with a tinge of groove, and chunky, double kicked drum beats build into swaths of fast paced, melodically inclined trem riffing. That being said, there are certain moments, especially during “Zerrissen von menschlicher Existenz”, where blasts take charge and fiery trem riffs envelope the senses; yet these moments serve as brief accouterments to the charging, old school vibes. Despite being a new act, their closing track, “Goatlord” showcases the band at the top of their game with it's infectiously destructive riffing.
Though they've been around since 2007, releasing a pair of demos and a compilation over the years, Blutsturm had evaded my ears until this split. Much like the Inferit tracks, Blutsturm plays primal black metal. Heavy handed riffing, bolstered by thumping, fuzzy bass, the band's sound brings a blasphemous swagger. The tempo often slows to a crawl, with roiling minor key notes juxtaposed against striking power chords, sounding like a necropolitic dirge; only serving to strengthen the primal nature of the faster movements. It's a rabid, no holds barred style that is as hard as iron, yet offers enough hooks in the riffing to be quite memorable.
The recording quality on both sides is rather bleak and raw, yet the precariously loud bass and deep, scraping growls cut through the mix in fine fashion. Both Inferit and Blutsturm offer primitively charged black metal not for the faint of heart. Schattenkult Produktionen really seems to have a knack for uncovering these extremely vitriolic yet strangely listenable offerings of underground black metal, and these two bands are no exception to the rule.
